Forms

You can assume a form of a different character and change the skill set of your weapons to experience different playstyle. You can select forms in the main hub after the rebirth. At the start of the game only 2 forms are available: Red and Violletta and additional forms can be unlocked via special resources.

Red

Red is the first available form that you encounter in the tutorial.

She features Balanced Melee Form: Suitable for all playstyles. You can either use powerful Charged Heavy Attacks or quickly follow up a Light Attack with a Heavy Attack to perform a swift Quick Heavy Attack.

Abilities

	Dual Stance	After using Ink Skills, Heavy Attack damage +20%, attack range +20%, stackable up to 2 times, lasting 6s.
	Endless Wave	Using a fully Charged Heavy Attack will trigger a circular shockwave that expands outward, dealing Heavy Attack and Additional damage.
	Gale Smash	Releasing a Swift Heavy Attack grants 1 stack of a buff, and releasing a Powerful Swift Heavy Attack grants 2 stacks: Each stack increases Light Attack and Heavy Attack speed by 7.5%. This can stack up to 3 times and lasts for 3 seconds.
	Glutton Blade	In this run, each dish consumed increases Light Attack damage by 10%. (Currently increased by X%.)
	Lotus Blade	Heavy Attack damage is increased by 1.2 times, and its range is increased by 1.2 times.
	Lotus Cleaver	Heavy Attack deals x1.5 damage when hitting a target that has never been damage by Heavy Attack before.
	Rainfall Slash	Heavy Attack Attack Speed +15%. All of your Swift Heavy Attacks are converted into Powerful Swift Heavy Attacks.
	Shield Shatter	Light Attack does an extra 50% damage under the Ink Shield state.
	Sky Sunder	Heavy Attack is converted into a forward firing linear earthwave. The longer the Charge time, the longer the earthwave's range.
	Swift Edge	The final part of Light Attack accelerates the cooldown of all your Ink Skills by 0.5s for each enemy hit.
	Twin Blades	Light Attack is converted into a two-stage rapid forward sweep.

Violetta

Violetta is Agility-Focused Form: High attack frequency. Heavy Attacks throw a spinning blade. When you catch the blade, you enter Dance mode: your next Light Attack combo becomes a powerful wide-area Dance Attack.

Form Buff: Movement Speed +20%, Dash Cooldown -0.1 seconds

A'kuan

A'Kuan is a Flexible Form: Balances attack and evasion. You have a maximum of 2 Bamboo Points, which can be accumulated through Light and Heavy Attacks. When you Dash, you consume Bamboo Points and unleash a Whirlwinds, dealing Additional/Light Attack/Heavy Attack damage.

Form Buff: Additional Damage +10%

Miss Lee

Miss Lee is a Balanced Ranged Form: Suitable for all playstyles. Light Attacks throw pieces that, when they hit enemies, grant you 1 stack of Chess Power. After accumulating 8 stacks, you enter Checkmate mode, greatly enhancing your next Heavy Attack.

Form Buff: Damage Modifier +15%

Six

Six is Luck-Focused Form: Ideal for Critical Hit and Status Effect builds. Both Light and Heavy Attacks deal multiple hits and can acquire various skills that increase luck or probabilities.

Form Buff: Critical Rate +5%, Effect Trigger Chance x1.2

Grace

Grace is a SKill-Focused Form: Ideal for powerful Ink Skills. You have a maximum of 2 Ink Orbs, which can be accumulated by using Ink Skills in combat. Your Heavy Attack consumes an Ink Orb and throws a large, bouncing ink orb, dealing both Heavy Attack damage.

Form Buff: Ink Skill Cooldown Cap -25%

Dr. Suen

Dr. Suen is Ink Pet-Focused Form: Enhances the combat abilitiers of Ink Pets, making them the main force in battle. Even in the Base Form, your Momo can fight. Your Light and Heavy attacks will assist in strengthening all Ink Pets.

Form Buff: Ink Pet Modifier +10%, Ink Pet Special Skill Cooldown Cap -5%

General Gor

General Gor is Strength-Focused Form: High damage but low mobility. Using Heavy Attacks, you throw your Blade and embed it into the ground, rendering you unable to attack. If you reach the embedded Blade, you can pull it out and perform a Whirling Slash, dealing massive Heavy Attack damage.

This form will be available for purchase after you beat the final boss once.

Form Buff: Damage Reduction +10%, but Movement Speed -15%

Monk Jin

Monk Jib is a Long-Range form: Extremely long range, high damage but low survivability. Light Attacks unleash multi-hit attacks, while Heavy Attacks fire a powerful laser that increases in range and damage with charging time.

This form will be available for purchase after you beat the final boss once.

Form Buff: Increases all damage dealt by 20%, but reduces maximum HP by 20%
